| This homeowner had bought a house where the natural wood ceiling, walls and most of the house had been sprayed with white by the previous occupant. He had wanted to restore the original look for the ceiling but was fixing up the house on a budget so we arrived at this quick (cheap) way of putting on a foundation or base color then drybrushing on custom tinted, handmade glaze to create the look of natural wood. This process is a very simple and quick method of “wood graining”. There are many more that are much more involved but too costly for such a large surface. |
